April 2007 - Lake Weiss, Alabama

This great blue heron greeted us right outside Sue & Glen's back window just about as soon as we got to their house at Lake Weiss, Alabama.	Remember when Steve begged you to stop the car on our way to supper so he could take a picture of the beautiful sky?	We're at the Little River Canyon National Preserve, a beautiful park and there is much more of it for us to see another time! (Sue, Glen, and Steve).	Steve stalking the falls. When we got back to the lake house, there was a large *flock* of anhinga's - ducklike birds that swim with most of their body submerged, just their head and neck above water - we had never seen more than one or two at a time anywhere!	A hotel / restaurant / meeting center on the edge of the lake, built to look like a giant riverboat!	A view of Sue & Glen's house from their boat dock. It was beautiful.
