|Back to Home Page|Early in the blizzard, on Christmas Eve day, Steve provides for our feathered friends And Steve tries not to blow away... It takes the birds about 10 seconds to return to the feeders after he leaves... The goldfinches struggle to hang on in the high winds... This little fellow has found a cozy shelter on our back porch... The heated birdbath is doing its job... Christmas Day and sunshine! And, refilling the feeders... Much easier to hang on now... Remember that bird bath? Steve's trip out to the compost bins... The pond is not quite frozen over... The old Domestead... The rainbow tree has survived, and Mary is out to help... Tippy-toe, tippy-toe - a small rabbit? Oh, no... The intrepid snow-hiker... needs snowshoes... And so it begins - what a Christmas Day! Front yard... Snow dunes in front of house... Grand Canyon of the driveway... Partway done... took time out to help the owners of some of the cars stuck in the street in front of the house. Yea - now we can get one car out! Runway is cleared for landing and takeoff, friends!
